Sprouts

Back in the summer I started Square Foot Gardening in order to grow my own organic vegetables. My garden consists of 32 square feet which allows me to have up to 32 different crops. It’s a true water and work saver and fresh things from a home garden are just amazing. ...continue reading about Sprouts...
Scallops and Creme Brulee Bananas Recipe

This recipe looks like it would be really complicated to prepare, but it’s honestly not. I promise. Scallops are a wonderful source of Omega-3 fatty acids and bananas are very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. They are also a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin B6. Kale is also in the same family as broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, and brussel sprouts. ...continue reading about Lacinato Kale and Parmeggiano-Reggiano Salad...

His experience shows that food has a much smaller percentage to do with heart health than does genetics. A family history of heart disease, according to him, plays about a 70% role in cardiovascular health where food/nutrition only about 30%. ...continue reading about Heart health and nutrition...

The pain was like a horrid, pulsing toothache all across my lower jaw. It woke me from a dead sleep. A little while later, nausea. It was the kind of toilet hugging sickness you felt after ...continue reading about What's a heart attack feel like?...
